The cell phone has a long way behind it, but the development isn’t finished yet by far.

A few years ago, the owner of a cell phone was satisfied when the quality of a call was half-decent. However, by now the use of cell phones is much more than just making simple calls.

Cell phones are not longer only phones but mobile entertainment systems. Watching videos, taking and editing photos or playing music – all of this is possible. Cell phone games have an important role here.

By now, hardly any cell phone is delivered without one or two games. These are mostly amusing, uncomplicated games for in-between. Who wants to have more can supply himself with the latest games in one of the several online portals or by SMS. There are games of different type for everyone. Well-known classics like Tetris or Snake are already replaced by more and more colourful and challenging games.

By now, one can say that the cell phone became a game console. Coloured displays, big memory cards and top-quality speakers make sure that today’s cell phones are almost in no way inferior to portable Gameboys or Playstations.
